Below is a marketing timeline that I follow in order to help reduce the stress and pressure of making a quick decision.
90 days prior to renewal- Obtain current and accurate census information.
60 days prior to renewal-Send census to many different carriers to receive quotes.
45 days prior to renewal- Meet with your company to make a decision on whether to stay with the current carrier or move to a new carrier for the next plan year.
30 days prior to renewal- Hold employee meetings to inform the employees of your company of any changes in their benefits. Education reduces problems!
Renewal Month- Everyone receives new ID cards and the plan is installed smoothly!
